Dismissal Schedule: The last week of school is quickly approaching. Monday, June 14th, Wednesday, June 16th and Friday, June 18th dismissal time for all grades will be 1:05 p.m. On Tuesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 17th times will remain the same at 1:30 p.m. for Kindergarten and 1:45 p.m. for Grades 1 - 5.
Renewal of Our Charter: The Governing Board of the Los Angeles Unified School District is planning on approving the Renewal of our Palisades Elementary Charter for another 5 year term! The official announcement should take place on Tuesday, June 15th.
Discovery Garden Clearance Sale:  The First Grade Garden Sale will occur during our final week of school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only! We will have rock bottom prices on herbs from our own first grade garden, beautiful flowers, cacti, etc. Get your summer gardens off to a great start and help our first graders practice their "money math"! The sale will take place at drop off, lunchtime and pick-up only.
2010-2011 Student Classroom Assignments:As we approach the end of this school year and prepare for next Fall, please be reminded that our teachers and the Principal will be responsible for deciding the 2010-2011 student assignments. As noted in your Parent/Student Handbook, parents may not request specific teachers. Prior to the start of school next September, the new class rosters will be posted in the front of the school. At this time, we do not know the release date for the class lists, but please check our school's website beginning September 8th for notice regarding the date and time.
